What is Leisure Time?
Three therapeutic recreation programs for developmentally disabled where recreational therapist engage participants, referred to as "consumers" in fun activities that further develop skills in socialization and daily living activities.
Who are Program Participants?
The participants are developmentally disabled adults, who reside in the Bronx.
When are the Programs Held?
Tuesday & Thursday 5p.m. – 9:30p.m.
Saturday; 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Sunday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
What do Participants Receive?
Participants receive fellowship; Social Outings; Arts and Crafts; Physical Fitness; and Dance classes.
